Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA), in an advertisement published in today’s (20th October 2020) Daily Business Recorder, has appreciated the Honorable Prime Minister Imran Khan for his visionary leadership and untiring efforts to put country’s economy on growth track as Government’s continuous support has resulted in significant development in export sector. September 2020 witnessed a notable 7.01% surge in overall exports and 11.3% in textile exports.

Textiles Import Statistics November 2020
The Pakistan Breuer of Statistics has revealed the provisional figures of external trade for November 2020. According to the figures, textile exports posted a positive growth of 9.27 per cent year-on-year to US$ 1.286 billion in November 2020 compared to US$ 1.176 billion; whereas export proceeds were up by 4.88% in July-November 2020 from a year ago.
Provisional of External Trade for December 2020
The Pakistan Breuer of Statistics has revealed the provisional figures of external trade for December 2020. According to the figures, textile exports during December 2020 increased by 22.72 per cent to a historic high of US$ 1.401 billion compared to US$ 1.14 billion in the corresponding month of last year; whereas on cumulative basis, textile exports increased by 7.79% to US$ 7.442 billion in July-December against US$ 6.904 billion in the same period last year.
